Our church does regular Servant Evangelism projects throughout our community. Many of these acts of service may seem small, but they are so important and make a huge impact on those involved and on the people we are serving. This is just one of the ways we try to answer the call to missions in our own backyard.

Here are some examples of these acts of service.

• Taking lunch to people at the VA clinic
• Handing out batteries door to door for fire alarms
• Handing out water at little league and youth soccer fields
• Sweeping off roofs and raking yards of elderly
• Playing bingo at a local nursing home
• Paying for the meal of the person behind you in a drive-through line
• Taking flowers to women at nursing homes on Mother's Day
• Handing out hot chocolate and coffee to people in line for Black Friday
• Providing free games and hot dogs at a local park
