For the Southside dance team, God has put within us a desire to offer our entire bodies and movements in true worship of our Lord because of His great love for us. We use our time together here as practice for the time when we will dance before Him in heaven and fall before His throne.

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1 HCSB

The Drama Ministry at Southside Baptist Church uses live stage performances and video to visually present the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to bring the excitement of the Word of God to life in a way that will enrich the spiritual lives of the audience and give them a fresh perspective on these age-old teachings. At the Southside Library you will find new favorites as well as old for both fiction and non-fiction readers. There are even commentaries for the Bible student and picture books for the little ones. Please stop by and see what we have. We're sure you'll find something you like.

We love for our facilities to be used as much as possible so we open our doors to our community to be used whenever needed. Our buildings have been used for everything from family reunions to sports meetings to housing evacuees during the last several hurricanes and of course it is always available for weddings.
