The cornerstone of our Men’s Ministry is Proverbs 27:17,

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

We believe in providing reasons for men to get together to encourage their walk with God and strengthen their leadership.

Men’s Bible Study

All men are invited to join us for Bible Study every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.

Men’s Prayer Group

All men are encouraged to come and share your prayer needs and enjoy the fellowship on a monthly basis. We meet at Southside at 7:00 pm on the fourth Monday of each month.

Men’s Fellowships

If there's one thing our men do well, it is getting together to eat. Come and join us for one of our Men's fellowships. We do everything from watching a football game to playing dominoes, but you can guarantee it is going to involve food.

Men's Retreats

There is nothing like a bunch of guys on a long overnight trip, especially when it is wrapped around hunting and fishing.  These trips have a way of making lifelong memories and lifelong friendships. Join us for our Spring fishing trip or our Fall hunting trip.  These are truly trips you don’t want to miss.

Sports Ministry

At Southside, sports are a ministry that has brought and engaged many people into our family. While we pride ourselves on fielding quality, competitive teams, our number one priority is to set such a high standard of example, behavior, and integrity, that people notice us more for our behavior, than our play. This behavior has resulted in Southside being the example by which rules and integrity are measured. God has honored our focus and through our sports ministries we experience deep fellowship and build lasting relationships (not to mention that we win a few championships every now and then).
