Our Mission

Southside Baptist Church exists to introduce others to the reality of Christ, to help them develop an authentic, life long relationship with God that results in the worship of God and ministry to others.

Our Vision

Evangelism: It is a dream of having every member of Southside reaching our community, state, nation, and world through our lifestyles, personal witnessing, and creative events.

Discipleship: It is the dream of members having a love relationship with God and a passion for His Word, discovering and using their spiritual gifts, growing into mature believers, and leading others to do the same.

Ministry: It is the dream of members developing a servant mentality where we are more interested in meeting the needs of others than having our own needs met.

Facilities: It is the dream of having the facilities that allows us to be a church that impacts the entire region including a 1,000 seat auditorium that would be available for city wide events, recreation facilities accessible to the entire community, and education buildings that will enhance both academic and spiritual endeavors. All of these facilities will ultimately be used to advance the Kingdom of God.
